1. Installation and Setup

1.1. Quick Installation

A4p Counter & Statistics FREE integrates directly into YOOtheme Pro and can be installed like a regular Joomla extension or WordPress plugin.

No additional libraries, external services or manual code integration are required.

1.2. Joomla

  1. Download the Joomla installation package.
  2. Open System → Install → Extensions in the Joomla administrator.
  3. Upload and install a4p-counter-statistics-joomla.zip.
  4. Make sure the A4p Counter & Statistics system plugin is enabled.
  5. Open YOOtheme Pro.
  6. Add a new element and select A4p Counter & Statistics from the addons4.pro element group.
  7. Add your counter items and configure values, titles, animation and layout.
  8. Open the plugin settings and enter your free addons4.pro license key under License & Updates.
  9. Save the plugin settings to activate automatic updates.

The Joomla version is compatible with Joomla 5 and Joomla 6.

1.3. WordPress

  1. Download the WordPress installation package.
  2. Open Plugins → Add New Plugin → Upload Plugin in the WordPress administration.
  3. Upload a4p-counter-statistics-wordpress.zip.
  4. Activate A4p Counter & Statistics
  5. Open YOOtheme Pro.
  6. Add a new element and select A4p Counter & Statistics from the addons4.pro element group.
  7. Add your counter items and configure values, titles, animation and layout.
  8. Open the A4p Counter & Statistics license settings and enter your free license key.
  9. Activate the license to enable automatic updates.

2. First Counter

After installation, create a new Counter & Statistics element and add one or more items.

For each item you can configure settings such as:

  • Start value
  • End value
  • Prefix
  • Suffix
  • Title
  • Animation duration
  • Thousands separator
  • Progress Circle
  • Panel style
  • Vertical alignment
The parent element controls the responsive grid layout, spacing and global appearance of the counter items.

3. Progress Circle

To add a visual progress indicator:
  1. Open the counter item.
  2. Enable Progress Circle.
  3. Define the progress value from 0 to 100.
  4. Configure size, stroke width and colors.
  5. Enable animation if required.
The progress value can be independent from the displayed counter number.

4. Using Dynamic Content

Supported fields can be connected to YOOtheme Pro Dynamic Content.

Use the Dynamic Content button next to a supported field and select the required content source. This allows numerical values to be populated dynamically in reusable YOOtheme Pro templates.

5. FREE and PRO Together

A4p Counter & Statistics FREE and PRO are separate standalone extensions and can be installed on the same website.

If you later upgrade to PRO, use YOOtheme Pro’s native Transform function to convert a FREE element into the PRO version while preserving supported shared settings.
